Getting my Dreams back!

13 years ago I had a plan for my life. I had a plan to go to college, get a great job, and live in a fast paced city. I loved working, loved being busy, independent, and I wanted to work my way to the top for whatever reason. At one time, I was going to school full time and working two part time jobs. Shortly after mine and Andy’s engagement, I became pregnant. My world was shaken. Sadly, I didn't want to face that fact and tried to deny and hide it as long as I could. Immediately after our son was born, he had a small complication and God showed me what a precious little blessing we had. We had to bring him home from the hospital with a heart monitor and those circumstances lead me to quit my job and stay home with him. Thankfully, Andy had a great job that allowed me do that but I felt like I lost some of my independence that day. As years went by and things came up, my dream of going back to school or getting a job I wanted, slowly started to fade more and more every day.

Recently, Beachbody came in to our lives. I wasn't looking for it, all I was looking for was a way to lose a little of the leftover baby weight and I joined a challenge group. That small decision changed our lives! With Beachbody I was able to get this car in MY NAME! MY name! For the first time in 13 years, Andy’s name didn't need to be attached. Now this is a very small thing but very huge to me, I feel like I just got some of that independence back. I am now able to contribute a little more without leaving home or taking away from my family.

Now I DON’T want you to MISINTERPRET THIS! I LOVE being a stay at home mom! And I have since learned God had bigger plans for me. Being a Beachbody coach has lit a FIRE IN MY SOUL AGAIN! I love being able to help others in reaching their goals and even more, seeing them see their potential within themselves!
