What does Distraction in life REALLY Cost?

Is the real me showing up today?
Have you ever heard someone say "well, the real me isn't like that." Or..."the real me is actually really happy and positive, deep down, I'm not as rude or so negative." Or “If I had more time, I’d REALLY like to do that.” Or how about this one,… “ Well, maybe someday I could do that, It would be nice!”
Personally, I have a tendency of coming off rude when I'm in a hurry, especially with those closest to me. I've realized that I become detached from my own self-awareness and become DISTRACTED in those times. Distracted from my life’s work, my purpose!
Here's my question, Is that the real me?
It is if that's what I'm showing the world! Yep that's the REAL ME!
That information, whether good or bad is helpful! I'm now learning to be more self-aware, becoming present in every moment, take it all in, slow down and choosing to be aware of my thoughts, feelings, and most importantly my words and actions to better myself as a husband, father, business owner and Coach!
I know everyone probably struggles with this a bit so my call to action for you is to practice a little self-awareness today.
Choose to consciously look up and smile and say a simple hello to that stranger you're passing by, speak words of life to a friend even if they've messed up, be PRESENT in your life without just robotically going through the motions. Think about what you REALLY want out of life instead of chalking your dreams up to the wind as mere wishes. Because you are worthy and capable of achieving those dreams, if you stop letting your distractions rob you of them!
You can probably agree that there are times that the real you that YOU KNOW, is better than the real you that you're showing the world. You can see that hope and the dreamer in you but are you showing it? Are you only showing distractions from the outside looking in?
Today’s video is really going to show you the full cost of distraction in our lives, IF we continue to let it have control.
I think you’ll be surprised!
